Analyst Investment Management (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain analytical foundation of investment operations through conducting country, sector and commodity research and analysis, including macroeconomic and regulatory trends
  • Support investment origination through screening and preliminary investment of investment opportunities
  • Support on- and off-site due diligence processes for debt investments in financial and corporates, including financial modeling and writing of investment proposals
  • Monitor existing debt investments, based on financial reports and periodic client reviews, and support internal and external reporting on the investment portfolio
  • Assist in analyzing technical assistance needs of potential and existing investees, and support the development of technical assistance project proposals

What we expect:

  • Dynamic and self-motivated team player, with excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • University degree preferably in economics, finance or business
  • Sufficient, relevant professional experience in banking, finance, or management consulting.  Direct investing experience in a transactional environment considered an advantage
  • Strong foundation in and aptitude for financial modeling and investment analysis
  • Cultural adaptability and a continuous learning mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, and ability to clearly articulate technical analysis
  • Demonstrable interest in impact investment and sustainable development, and alignment with Finance in MotionĀ“s vision/mission
