Analyst Project Finance (m/f/d)

The Project Finance team is focused on renewable energy, and energy and resource efficiency investments (primarily project finance debt) through the Green for Growth Fund (GGF), which now has more than half a billion EUR in assets. The team seeks a new team member to help expand and monitor the growing portfolio in GGF’s target region, which currently includes the Western Balkans, Turkey, the Caucasus, Ukraine, Moldova, and six countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the team in the development of financial models for transactions
  • Monitor and report on assigned transactions in the GGF portfolio
  • Contribute to the screening, structuring, negotiating, and executing new investment transactions, primarily senior debt project finance structures
  • Support business development efforts
  • Support the development of investment proposals and other submissions to the GGF Investment Committee

What we expect:

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • Sufficient, relevant work experience (incl. internships), in project finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modelling
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; French, Arabic, or Spanish is an advantage
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Clear affinity with economic development and impact goals of our work, and willingness to travel to the frontier markets that we target
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
