Associate - Private Equity Key Account Team (m/f/d)

The Luxembourg Private Equity Key Account Team (LPEAT) serves as the key account team for Finance in Motion’s Impact private equity strategies (e.g. forestry, clean energy, venture capital, fund-of-funds). The LPEAT has a holistic understanding of investment processes and equity transactions, including portfolio management, risk management, fund management and administration, financial reporting, transfer agency and investor management tasks.

Against this background, the LPEAT is involved in the private equity investment process, the relationship management with key stakeholders and service providers as well as being the central touchpoint for the management of ancillary services from Finance in Motion, GmbH.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Key Account Manager in managing the relationship with Equity Investment Teams and its advisors to work on acquisitions, disposals and restructuring of sustainable investments.
  • Support the Senior Key Account Manager in managing the relationship with third parties (e.g. depository, fund administrator) and internally for company/fund set up, liquidation, company secretarial and compliance topics.
  • Support  in the preparation of investment committee and board meetings, such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes and support in the preparation of circular resolutions and other documents.
  • Support LPEAT colleagues with the drafting/updating of relevant policies and procedures related to the private equity structures and support on miscellaneous administrative tasks, such as uploading documents on relevant platforms etc.
  • Participate in FiM group-wide projects, when relevant.

What we expect:

  • University degree in a relevant field (preferably in economics, law, finance, or business administration)
  • Relevant professional experience, preferably in the Luxembourg Fund Industry and of asset management, fund administration, audit of funds or within a law firm
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion’s mission to do good for people and planet
  • Dynamic, authentic, credible team player with entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to cooperate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural context
  • Ability to work autonomously in a structured manner, including proven ability to deliver on time, scope and budget
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German and Spanish a plus)
  • Experience with investments in emerging markets is considered a strong advantage
