(Senior) Event Expert (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning, organization, and execution of national and international events (conferences, workshops, etc.) including invitation management, time, and resource planning
  • Briefing and coordination of service providers and stakeholders
  • Contract negotiations, budgeting, and budget review
  • Integration of marketing and communication issues into events
  • Execution of sponsorships of conferences
  • Taking over additional marketing responsibilities such as project, agency and web management within the Marketing & Communications Team

What we expect:

  • University degree, ideally with a focus on marketing, events or communications
  • Extensive relevant work experience in event marketing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and German
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to perform under stress and perseverance to cope with difficult situations
  • Knowledge on event safety and legal/regulatory requirements for event management (e.g., public liability insurance, GDPR)
  • Flexibility and communication talent to operate in multicultural environments and teams
  • Self-starter, thinking and acting with an entrepreneurial spirit
