Investment Analyst (m/f/d)

The investment analyst will jointly collaborate with the Fund and the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The primary activities of this role would include:

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis (building financial models, cash flows and business sensitivity analysis)
  • Transaction support (reviewing business plans, summarizing findings, and preparing reports)
  • Support due diligence efforts including industry analysis and writing investment memoranda.
  • Support portfolio management (tracking impact, financial and operating metrics and preparing performance reports)
  • Support Investment Officers in monitoring technical assistance needs for potential investees or market participants, in coordination with the technical assistance team.
  • Specifically, for the IKI project the investment analyst will support the team on financial analysis and due diligence of prospective projects related to sustainable agriculture and forest landscape restoration

What we expect:

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic candidate that feels the urgency to contribute to create significant economic, social, and environmental impact.
  • Degree in industrial engineering, economics, business administration, finance, or related field
  • Sufficient relevant experience in investing, finance, investment banking or similar background
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate large datasets to identify key points
  • Strong research capabilities and aptitude for project management
  • Exceptional written and verbal business communication skills in English (all responsibilities are conducted fully in English)
  • Goal oriented, team player, and fully committed to delivering high quality results under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel
