Manager IT System Operations (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the IT service center within the international IT organization
  • Optimizing structure and processes in order to increase efficiency and scale operations
  • Design and drive improvements on Finance in Motion Network and Services
  • Ensure high availability of critical systems, both the On Premise and the Azure Cloud ones
  • Maintain our Unified Communication system
  • Safeguard the IT security of our networks and end-clients
  • Drive the adoption of industry standard frameworks for security (ISO 27001) and for service management (ITIL 4)
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure that quality equipment and services are available to Finance in Motion
  • Recommend on tools, technologies, and processes to streamline system administration and network management activities
  • Support the drive for innovation on the systems and networks of FiM

What we expect:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
  • Sufficient, relevant professional experience
  • Managerial experience at the team level (1-5 employees)
  • Ability to manage a VMware environment (ESXi Hypervisors, HA, Veeam backups)
  • Proven experience in designing, securing, and managing a Microsoft Azure infrastructure
  • Confidence in supporting Microsoft Based Server infrastructure (AD, GPOs, Radius, DNS, DHCP, NPS, NTP)
  • Experience in managing and configuring a Cisco switches-based infrastructure (VLANS, Cisco Switch Stacks, MDF and multiple IDFs)
  • Strong sensitivity to IT security and threats
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in German and in English
  • Charismatic, self-motivating, open, and respectful personality
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
