Manager Institutional Sales / Relationship Management (m/f/d)

To strengthen the Investor Relations team in the Frankfurt head office, the company is looking for a leader to work with the Director of Investor Relations and the small, highly focused sales/relationship team that is responsible for the distribution of funds advised by Finance in Motion. This role collaborates very closely with other core business departments (such as Investment Management). The target market includes institutional and semi-institutional investors (e.g. Family Offices, UHNWIs) that possess an interest in impact investing worldwide, with a focus on Western Europe and the United States of America.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage client acquisition, investor due diligence and the KYC process as well as closing of transactions
  • In cooperation with the other team members, lead the organization of investor events (i.e. investor visits or client events)
  • Drive process improvement on a continual basis and the development of relevant documentation
  • The drafting and compiling of After Sales documents for investors (e.g. Noteholder reports)
  • Research on the impact investor space and management of lead generation
  • Relationship management (assuming overall responsibility for selected investors)
  • Contribute to the design and continuous update of marketing materials
  • Coaching & development of the team

What we expect:

  • University degree in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Sufficient, relevant professional experience with a substantial background in asset/wealth management; Preferably with development finance experience (sustainable/impact investing)
  • Client servicing mentality coupled with an open and engaging communication style and great interpersonal skills; previous focus on the U.S., UK and/or Nordic markets desired
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to integrate regulatory requirements into IR processes
  • Excellent organizational skills, proven team-orientation, high level of self-motivation, results-driven approach and tenacity with a “hands-on” mentality
  • Excellent written and spoken English, ideally proficient in German
  • Proficiency in MS Office
