Senior Associate in Risk Management - Tools and Methodology (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance tools, policies and methodologies for the management of credit risk of financial institutions
  • Maintain, test, calibrate, validate and upgrade existing risk management models and tools (rating, stress-testing, early warning signals, key risk indicators, etc.)
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative justifications for modelling choices, assumptions made, data selection and reliability of model inputs
  • Serve as a contact point with IT with regards to risk management systems and data warehouse, steer and coordinate development and enhancement of risk management and reporting systems on the risk management side
  • Develop and update documentation as to the credit risk management methodology and the risk management tools applied

What we expect:

  • Master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, physics or mathematics
  • Sufficient, relevant professional experience in banking and finance, ideally in quantitative/statistical analysis and data mining related to internal rating models for banks or large corporates
  • Sound understanding of banks’ business model, accounting and regulatory framework (Basel 3, IFRS)
  • Good IT/data management skills and experience with relevant software packages and databases, preferably Excel/VBA/MS Access/SQL/Matlab/SAS
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills
  • Pragmatic, problem solver with proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal and external partners to achieve objectives
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
