Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d)

The IT department supports Finance in Motion’s business strategy by providing secure automation systems to ensure efficiency in investment operation. It designs, manages and supports all internal systems and cloud service providers on which the company's business is run. A significant subset of business applications is developed by the internal software development division.

Key responsibilities:

 
  • Significantly contribute in the development and execution of the company IT Strategy
  • Work in tight contact with the business units to uncover their needs, inefficiencies or opportunities to further process automation
  • Provide strategic guidance for the software solutions to keep abreast with industry latest innovations
  • Assist in data modelling and abstract application design
  • Deeply understand the market and monitor the best players in the domain of software solution for funds and financial institution
  • Liaise with the operational departments and the IT team to develop functional requirements for IT projects
  • Liaise with the IT team to support planning and resource allocation
  • Plan and manage the delivery and roll-out of software solutions, both internally developed and externally procured

What we expect:

  • Sufficient relevant professional experience as a Business Analysis or IT Project Manager with increasing responsibilities and remit
  • Awareness of the financial sector software and automation requirements
  • Experience in the financial sector is a strong advantage
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Passion for the leading edge of technology
  • Superior written and verbal communication, including technical writing
  • Creative, self-motivating attitude
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, German is an advantage
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
