Senior Officer - IT Project Management (m/f/d)

The IT department supports Finance in Motion’s business strategy by providing secure automation systems to ensure efficiency in investment operations. It designs, manages and supports all internal systems and cloud service providers on which the company's business is run. We are looking for a PM, who will join our team to help us in further automation and optimization of business process by providing with robust software solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute into the development and execution of the company IT Strategy
  • Work in tight contact with business analysts and business units to define their needs and identify opportunities for further process automation and optimization
  • Provide strategic guidance for the software solutions to keep abreast with industry latest innovations
  • Assist in data modelling and abstract application design
  • Deeply understand the market and monitor the best players in the domain of software solution for funds and financial institution
  • Liaise with the business departments and the IT team to develop plan and execute IT projects
  • Liaise with the IT team to support planning and resource allocation
  • Plan and manage the delivery and roll-out of software solutions, both internally developed and externally procured

What we expect:

  • Significant relevant professional experience as a Project Manager (a previous Business Analyst / Product Owner experience is a big plus)
  • Experience in managing IT projects (implementation of new IT solutions, enhancement of existing IT solutions, various automations) in the financial sector
  • Familiar with agile frameworks and methodologies, experience in SCRUM is a big plus
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit, build or buy analysis, and risk management
  • Passion for the leading edge of technology
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
  • Creative, self-motivating attitude, a team-player
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, German is an advantage
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
