Working Student KYC – Fund Operations Team (m/f/d)

Finance in Motion is recruiting a Working Student to be part of our KYC Unit within the newly established Fund Operations Team, which centralizes a series of fund management tasks previously distributed among different teams within the company.

Key responsibilities:

As a Working Student in the KYC Unit, you are going to support the team in the following KYC activities of the funds advised by Finance in Motion:
  • Support First Line of Defense by performing and documenting initial and ongoing screening activities on all funds’ stakeholders (investees, investors and other third parties) in integrity databases.
  • Assess and escalate potential red flags to the Second Line of Defense.
  • Coordinate the compilation, maintenance and storing of required KYC documentation on the funds and the funds´ stakeholders.
  • Support the ongoing KYC/AML monitoring and regular review activities on the funds’ stakeholders in collaboration with the responsible business units.
  • Closely collaborate with the Compliance team to ensure adherence to AML/KYC policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate and respond to KYC/AML queries from funds’ stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement adequate tools and systems, including the definition of requirements.
  • Continuously update, maintain, and improve processes and tools.

What we expect:

  • Bachelor or Master student enrolled in law, business administration, finance or similar
  • Enthusiastic, and self-starting attitude.
  • Flexibility and a team player.
  • Ability to handle tasks with great accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office products are an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
