We seek support to further improve our environmental footprint and the sustainability of all our business processes and organization. You will work on the exciting and challenging question of how Finance in Motion can further improve its environmental footprint from an already high level and measure consumption and savings of natural resources as a company. The position includes the following areas of responsibility:

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of methodologies for collecting and improving statistically relevant data for environmental management (e.g. energy/water/paper consumption, recycling rates, etc.)
  • Initiation and implementation of initiatives to improve the life cycle assessment (e.g. LED replacement, water-saving buttons, window insulation, etc.)
  • Establishment of standards for procurement (ecological procurement management), operations and disposal
  • Support of employee training and anchoring in the corporate culture through presentations, policies & procedures
  • Focus on our head office as well as our regional offices

The following tasks await you in Facility Management:
  • Planning and coordination of internal relocations
  • Evaluation, acceptance and coordination of internal repair requirements with the executing companies
  • Assistance with the maintenance of directories (e.g. access permissions, room plan)


What we expect:

  • You study environmental management, sustainability, facility management
  • Affinity to deal with the conditions of office buildings and initiate measures to reduce resource consumption
  • Basic technical understanding of how building management works, and which aspects need to be considered
  • Knowledge of methodologies and concepts for improving environmental management
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint
  • Strong communication skills, presentation experience and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in dealing with facility service providers is an advantage
  • Conversation fluent in German and English
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
